As a Security Professional - Residential Site Patrol - Part Time in North Myrtle Beach, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. You will remain highly visible to provide a reassuring presence and deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and assisting with access needs. This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable using computers or tablets and who enjoy interacting with people in a professional manner. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activity as required by site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with local authorities and/or property management when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to residents and visitors as needed.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
